Event Description
In partnership with Oldways Preservation Trust and The Culinary Guild of New England, we are pleased to welcome renowned cookbook author Susan Herrmann Loomis to the French Cultural Center.
Susan will join us to talk about life and cooking in France, demonstrate techniques from her latest book, Nuts in the Kitchen, and prepare some delicious treats to be sampled at the post-talk reception.
Talk and cooking demo, followed by a book signing and tasting. Susan ’s latest book, "Nuts in the Kitchen", will be available for purchase at the event.
About the Author
Susan Herrmann Loomis is the author of nine books, including seven cookbooks. She is a columnist for France Today, and a regular contributor to Cooking Light and Culture Magazine, as well as other publications. She owns and operates On Rue Tatin, a cooking school in Paris and Normandy, France, and she is a partner in notakeout.com. She lives in Normandy full-time with her two children.
