Our Program (ages 3-13):

Have your child enjoy a full immersion experience!

Our skilled teachers are native speakers, teach year-round, and are specially trained for our Summer in French program. Our Center has remarkable resources, including the largest private French library in New England and an exciting collection of French films. We are located in the heart of Back Bay and have easy access to playgrounds, museums, and other places of interest and learning in Boston. Summer in French complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Health.

Activities in French:

Each week centers on a theme and we offer a variety of special activities, including visits from exotic animals, puppet shows, cooking, theater, fashion, art and perfume workshops -- all excellent opportunities for your child to incrase his/her vocabulary and stimulate his/her conversation skills. Outdoor activities take place at a nearby playground and at the Boston Common.

Activities are age-appropriate and tailored to the language level of the children. We offer language instruction for everyone from the beginner to the bilingual student.

Children engage in:

  • Songs, music, theater and dance
  • Conversation (focus on grammar and vocabulary)
  • Reading and writing (for older children)
  • Arts and crafts
  • Language-based outdoor games
  • Board games
  • Movies
  • Cooking
  • Library activities
