Coup de Cœur

L’enfant cachée
de Marc Lizano

Comic book available in our collection

Children's Collections

We hold an exceptionally large collection of French picture books for kids and teens!

With over 4,300 items in all formats (films, music, recorded stories, books, magazines, board and card games) and a unique online-accessible offering of eBooks and more, you are sure to find an appropriate selection for your child, whether your child is learning his first words in French or already speaks fluently.

Visiting our beautiful children's section is an opportunity to step into a world of new stories all originally imagined in French.

This is also a space for parents to meet and discuss raising a bilingual child, and maybe find new play dates!

Our collection is searchable online through our catalog, which allows you to search by subject or by age group.

The "Youth" Culturethèque tab is also a good place to explore to discover interactive eBooks and games!

We recently started Liv'raison, a book exchange program, with the Lower School of the International School of Boston. Every two months, we exchange a selection of 20 books that then become available for our Members to check out here from our library. This collection usually includes early readers and picture books for children 6 - 10 years old. You can find these books by the windowsill of the Children's Room.
